superlatives- stopień najwyższy 

1)Przymiotniki krótkie:stopień wyższy

- do stopnia równego dodajemy - er

long - longer

big - bigger 

heavy - heavier

W zdaniu stopień wyższy pojawia sie przed słowem "than"- niż/od 

np. I am older than you. Jestem starszy od ciebie. 

Stopień najwyższy -końcówka - est

the longest

the biggest

the heaviest

2) Przymiotniki długie :

- w stopniu wyższym dodajemy "more"- bardziej

- w stopniu najwyższym "the most"- najbardziej

np. difficult- more difficult - the most difficult 

Wyjątki:

good- better- the best

bad-worse- the worst
